mailing list or via Lucy's JIRA installation to be implicitly supplied to KS
as well. Naturally, you can cancel that ongoing trigger at any time via a
message to this list.

There's also the matter of past contributions to KinoSearch which might make
sense to contribute to Lucy. I think we'll handle those on a case-by-case
basis as individual patches.

For example, trunk/core/KinoSearch/Search/PhraseScorer.c has a big chunk of
code you wrote in it. When it comes time to contribute PhraseScorer.c to
Lucy, I'll ask you to donate your original KS patch to Apache via JIRA...

> What specific granting language should it contain?

By going through the JIRA contribution interface and keeping the size of
contributions small, we avoid the need to go through the more elaborate system
at Apache for handling large software grants.

Once you've donated that patch, it frees me up to submit the whole
PhraseScorer.c file. All the other IP in that file either belongs to me or to
Eventful.

For now, though, my primary concern is backporting recent Charmonizer changes
from Lucy to KS. I don't want things to get too far out of sync.
