Right now, I am only concerned with integrating recent contributions to Lucy
into KS.  Simply having you on record in this public forum stating that we can
use anything you contribute to Lucy in KinoSearch as well suffices.  You
aren't assigning copyright or anything like that, you're simply granting a
license to use your Lucy work within KS under its current Artistic/GPL terms.

When you send a patch to the mailing list of an open source project with the
obvious intent of contributing it, you grant an implied license to use your
patch in that project.  The copyright remains your own unless you assign it
explicitly (as GNU requires, for example).
