[KinoSearch] KinoSearch on solaris

Hello,

I'm attempting to install install KinoSearch 0.13 on a solaris server -
"SunOS 5.9 Generic_117171-17 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire-V240"

I'm using gcc 3.3.2, and perl from ActiveState version 5.8.6.  Is this known
not to be possible? - the compilation works fine but then a lot of the tests
fail: -
